About the CWHOA Board
The purpose of our homeowner's board is to maintain the standards of our non-profit corporation in accordance with state law, establish a budget, enforce the covenants, ensure homeowners maintain their property and impose fines and other legal remedies when lots are not maintained to the standards of the community.
About the Architectural Control
Committee (ACC)
The Chateau Walk Homeowners Association board also serves as the ACC. The purpose of the ACC is to preserve the architectural appearance of the neighborhood, review and approve or disapprove improvements to individual lot or house and establish standards in the exterior maintenance of each lot or house for the purpose of maintaining property values.
Requests for house or lot improvements All improvements, such as painting, siding, roofing, windows, carpentry, doors, or any other improvement or change replacement or addition must first be approved by the ACC before the addition or improvement starts. If you plan to build or replace a fence, add or replace a structure on your property, all changes or additions must be approved prior to starting work.
Even if you plan to use the same materials and colors you must submit a request and receive approval. If you start work without ACC approval you will be notified to stop work and submit your request. If work continues you will be subject to a fine of $50.00 per day until your request is submitted. If the ACC determines that your choice of color, material or design is NOT approved you will receive notice from Homeside Properties to make the appropriate changes. If such changes are not made within 30 days you will be subject to a fine until it is resolved.
Process to submit ACC review and obtain approval The forms for ACC review are found at the association management company website.
